Poster sale?

Journal Entry: Thu Oct 6, 2011, 4:50 PM

Would potential customers mind if I sold my 11x17" posters by shipping them folded, in letter size documents? It would greatly decrecase postage (to $2-$3) because I wouldn't have to deal with mailing tubes, which I annot procure at affordable prices.

JSYK, the posters are printed on relatively thin gloss instead of cardstock, kind of like magazine covers would be, so they do fold easily.

The selection would depend on what I have left over from previous local cons haha;;;

I had a folded poster and it sucks 'cause everytime I look at it, that crease REAAAAALLY bothers me. So unless you have a way to not have that crease, I don't thin customers would want a folded poster

I hate having folded posters, they rip very easily after awhile which utterly sucks. I dont really know how you could possibly fold them without creases since you need creases for it to fold, but I'd buy them only if you could get them without creases.

I think you should provide both options. :) That way everyone is happy.

I kinda agree on the crease aspect. Sometimes it helps with the poster aesthetic but I usually don't like to get posters with creases in them.
